Our Story

DL has always had a love for deer and wildlife.  He began hunting with his father as soon as he was of age.  Since boyhood, he has always dreamed of having a deer farm.

DL and Diana purchased their property in 1991 consisting of 11.33 acres.  Over the years, they have raised three children on the property while enjoying dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, turkeys, hogs, and rabbits.  Currently, the farm has 45 whitetail deer, 2 dogs, 2 horses, 1 miniature horse, 4 cats, and 5 chickens. When not working the farm, we enjoy visiting with our 4 grandchildren.

In 2020, DL became associated with Craig Frye through DL's brother.  Craig and his wife own Spotted Acres Deer Farm in Battle Creek, MI.  Craig has been very instrumental in the development of D2 Whitetails LLC.
